Bricks and Disorder is a DIY focused content channel where I’ve led creative development over the past two years, continuing to scale short-form output whilst shaping the direction of their long-form content.
Working across a 1.8M+ audience, I developed story led content formats designed to drive engagement and repeat viewership across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
My approach focused on reframing everyday renovation content into narrative driven ideas. For example, transforming a boring bathroom renovation into a heist, turning functional content into something more entertaining and shareable.
YouTube: I lead creative development across long-form content. Shaping ideas from initial concept through to final delivery.
The development includes building a narrative structure, defining creative engagement moments and developing repeatable formats.
I define the packaging, including thumbnails, titles, graphics and on screen creative to ensure each piece is engaging for the community we have built.
Since working with them I’ve helped to bring in over 2.5+ million views and 250k subscribers.
Short form: I concept and develop short-form formats and series, including creating the brand identity for ‘The Disorder House’. A shift from just DIY to personality, personal story content. Turning everyday moments such as the house has always looked scary and never got a trick or treater to a large scale halloween build - designed for engagement, community and personality focused.
Alongside concepts, I confidently can translate into execution being able to edit, refine tone and pacing to match across the channel. Here are some of the short-form video’s I have edited for the team.
